'Wing it' with T.M. Makeup Student Malin

We all know 'winging it' isn't always easy and can often be off putting, but never fear. Makeup student Malin took us through her simple steps to achieving the perfect wing.

Step 1: Line from the inner

After prepping your eye with a neutral eye shadow base, it’s time to get your liner out! Using a liquid eyeliner, lay it on its side and begin gently dragging across the inner third of the eye. Do this with your eyes open for best results!

Step 2: Line to the arch

Now that your inner third is lined, start from where you left off and drag the eyeliner across further, staying as close to the lash line as possible. It’s best to end this line where your brow arches.

Step 3: Time to wing it!

Don’t be afraid! Start from the outside of the eye, in line with where your brow ends. Following the angle of your waterline, drag your liner towards the eye to meet your previous line.

Step 4: Tidy your line.

It doesn’t have to be perfect! But for added confidence use your finger or a cotton tip and a small amount of cleanser to sharpen and tidy your line.

Step 5: Enhance

Enhance your liner with a rich, black mascara. then you’re done! That wasn’t so bad, was it?
